1. What size is the heating pad and where can I use it?
The mat is 30 x 60 cm (about 12 x 24 in), a good fit for the lower back, shoulders, knees, belly or feet. You can sit on it as a seat cushion on an office chair or sofa, or lay it over your lap on the couch and in bed.

2. What are the 9 heat levels and how warm do they actually feel?
The heating wire runs from about 30°C at level 1 up to 70°C at level 9. Because of fabric thickness and room temperature, the surface you feel is roughly 29°C to 56°C, with a tolerance of about ±5°C. Levels 3 to 5 are the most used for long sessions.

3. Does it turn off by itself?
Yes. Choose one of 4 timer settings - 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes - and the pad powers off automatically when the time is up. We recommend 15 to 30 minutes per session and a lower level for longer use.

4. Which voltage and plug will I receive?
EU and UK versions run on AC 220-240V 50/60Hz at 1A, and the US version runs on AC 100-130V 60Hz at 2A. Rated power is 75W. Please select the plug type that matches your country at checkout, since the wrong voltage version cannot be used safely.

5. Is it really machine washable?
Yes. Unplug the pad, detach the controller from the connector, put the mat in a laundry bag and wash on a gentle cold cycle. Air dry it flat. Never wash or wet the controller, never tumble dry at high heat, never iron or dry clean, and only reconnect the controller when the mat is completely dry.

6. What are the 27 jade stones for?
They are natural Xiuyan jade discs of 4 cm diameter set into one side of the mat. They give that side a smooth, firm and pleasantly cool touch before heating and a steady, even warmth once heated. This is a comfort and home warmth product, not a medical device, and it is not intended to treat any condition.

7. Can I use both sides?
Yes. Both faces are crystal velvet; one face carries the jade stones for a firmer feel, and the other is fully soft plush for a cozier feel. Simply flip the mat depending on the season and how you want to use it.

8. How safe is it to use every day?
The pad uses a dual spiral heating wire with a current fuse plus resistance protection: if the heating wire short-circuits, the controller cuts the power instantly. Please do not fold or crease the pad while it is running, do not use it on top of an electric blanket, and do not let children or anyone unable to operate the controls use it unattended.

9. How much electricity does it use?
Rated power is only 75W, and the thermostat cycles on and off, so real consumption is lower than the rated figure. A 60-minute session at a middle level costs far less than running a room heater.

10. How long is the power cord?
The cord is about 145 cm from the pad to the controller plus about 65 cm to the plug, around 210 cm in total, long enough to reach a wall socket from an office chair, sofa or bedside.

11. Can I use it for my pet?
Yes, at a low level with a timer and always with a blanket or cover between the pad and the animal. Keep the cord out of reach and never let a pet chew the cable or the controller.

12. Can I sleep with it on all night?
No. The maximum timer is 120 minutes and the pad is designed for sessions, not for all-night use. Do not use it while asleep, and always unplug it after use.

13. Does it come with a controller and manual?
Each order includes the 30 x 60 cm jade heating mat, one 9-level 4-timer controller with EU, US or UK plug, a PE storage bag and a printed English manual.

14. What certifications does the product have?
The product holds CE-EMC, CE-LVD, RoHS and FCC certificates plus a UL test report. Design patent applications are filed in the US, UK and EU.

15. It smells slightly new or heats unevenly at first - is it faulty?
A faint fabric smell in the first uses is normal and fades after airing. Warmth spreads across the mat over 5 to 10 minutes; the jade side heats a little more slowly because stone stores heat. If one area stays completely cold after 15 minutes, contact us with a short video and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
